How we got started
We started with two packing and shipping stores, and a majority of our customers were seniors. Over time, we learned what they needed, and also what their families needed when they were transitioning their mom or dad into assisted living or after they had passed.
Again and again, we met adult children who were grieving, exhausted, and often living far away, trying to figure out how to get a parent's furniture, art, and keepsakes to brothers, sisters, and grandchildren in other states. Senior Assist Shipping grew out of those experiences, and we have been helping families ever since.
What we believe
- Every family's situation is different. That's why we start with a no-cost meeting and give a personalized quote.
- No shipment is too big or too small. A few breakable items or a dining room set and a sectional. Anything in between, we can do that.
- This is personal. The items we ship carry memories. We treat them, and the families who own them, with care.
- Honest advice matters. We'll tell you how best to handle what needs to get shipped, even when the answer is that something isn't worth shipping.
